The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Your Wedding Day trained by Sarah Dawson was bleeding from both nostrils after the race.

P. Townend, rider of Inesperate (FR), trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung for the last mile and never let himself down on the ground.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Inesperate (FR), trained by A.J.Martin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.

B.J. Cooper, rider of Mr Eko trained by Timothy Doyle, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was never travelling during this race before being pulled up.

S.W. Flanagan, rider of Vic Approach trained by D.E.Fitzgerald, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped severely to the left.

D.J. Mullins, rider of Windy Millie trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount finished lame.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Windy Millie, trained by Paul W. Flynn, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be very lame post race.

The Stewards enquired into an incident inside the final 200 yards involving Western Promise, ridden by G.N. Fox, placed third, Windy Millie, ridden by D.J. Mullins, placed second and Boss Croaker, ridden by P.T. Enright, placed first, where it appeared that Western Promise ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action.
